THE 22 STEPS

  1. Throw your smartphone out the window.
  2. Breathe. Deeply. In. Then out. Slowly.
  3. Go splash some cold water on your face & the back of your neck.
  4. Eat a healthy lunch. Maybe with a smoothie.
  5. Remove a hammer from your toolbox.
  6. Smash your smartablet with hammer.
  7. Throw your smartablet out the window.
  8. Take a long walk around your neighborhood.
  9. Stop at the local coffeeshop and have a cappuccino.
  10. Return home and read a chapter from a book. Perhaps Gulliver’s Travels.
  11. Rip your smartlaptop in two.
  12. Throw your smartlaptop out the window.
  13. Cook a delicious dinner. Perchance ratatouille or meatloaf.
  14. Stretch. It’s important.
  15. Throw your smartv out the window.
  16. Take off all your clothes.
  17. You are now naked, both digitally & physically.
  18. Get into bed.
  19. Stare up at the ceiling.
  20. Close your eyes. Allow your mind to wander. Drift off…
  21. Wake up in the morning. Leap out of bed.
  22. Look around. It’s a new day. And a new you.
